How to Manage & Cancel Amazon Subscriptions (2026)

To see and manage your Amazon subscriptions, open Your Memberships and Subscriptions while signed in — each plan has a Manage Subscription option where you can cancel (under Advanced Controls) or, for some digital subscriptions, turn off auto-renew. Prime and Subscribe & Save have their own cancel paths, covered below.

Where to see all your Amazon subscriptions

Amazon keeps most subscriptions on one page: Your Memberships and Subscriptions (amazon.com/yourmembershipsandsubscriptions). Per Amazon Help, it lists your active, canceled, and expired subscriptions, including Prime and Prime Video, with each one’s renewal date and price.

  • On a computer: sign in on amazon.com and open Your Memberships and Subscriptions.
  • On your phone: open the same link in your phone’s browser, or follow the tap path in our Amazon Shopping app guide.
  • Manage Subscription on each plan lets you change the payment method, change the shipping address (physical subscriptions only), or turn Auto-Renew off (select digital subscriptions only).

What lives where

  • Prime: listed on Memberships and Subscriptions, but you end it from the Prime membership page (Cancel Your Prime Membership). Full steps: How to Cancel Amazon Prime.
  • Prime Video add-ons (formerly called Channels, e.g. Paramount+): paid extras on top of Prime Video. Cancel them from Prime Video’s Manage Your Subscriptions page (amazon.com/myac) → Subscriptions tab (Amazon Help).
  • Subscribe & Save (household products): has its own page, Your Subscribe & Save Items, with a Subscriptions tab (Amazon Help). See Cancel Amazon product subscriptions.
  • Kindle+ (Kindle Unlimited): cancel from the Kindle+ page; if you signed up through Google Play, cancel in Google Play (Amazon Help).
  • Software and other digital subscriptions: cancel from Your Memberships & Subscriptions (Amazon Help).
  • Signed up through Apple or Google Play? That store bills you, so cancel there.

Device/account steps: Memberships & Subscriptions

From Manage Your Amazon Subscriptions:

  1. Go to Your Memberships and Subscriptions.
  2. Locate the subscription.
  3. Select Manage Subscription.
  4. Select Cancel Subscription under Advanced Controls (wording may vary).
  5. Confirm; save email / on-screen confirmation.

Auto-Renew toggles (where shown) can stop renewal for some digital subs — still confirm status after any change.

Software subscriptions: Amazon offers End Now (ends immediately) or End on [date] (keeps access until the renewal date, then stops). Amazon says prorated refunds aren’t available for an unused part of a billing cycle, and you may lose access right away after canceling (Amazon Help).

Cancel a Prime Video add-on (Paramount+ and other channels)

From Cancel Your Prime Video Add-On Subscription:

  1. Go to Manage Your Subscriptions (amazon.com/myac) and select Subscriptions from the top menu.
  2. Find the add-on you want to cancel.
  3. Select Unsubscribe and confirm.
  • Your end date shows on the confirmation screen. You can reverse the cancel until then. After that date, you aren’t charged and lose access to that add-on.
  • If Amazon offers a self-service refund and you accept it, the cancel takes effect immediately.
  • Paying through Apple? Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal, or you may be charged.

Cancel Kindle+ (Kindle Unlimited)

From Cancel Your Kindle+ Subscription:

  1. Signed up through Amazon: go to the Cancel Kindle+ page and sign in.
  2. Select Cancel membership.
  3. Signed up through Google Play: Play Store → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  • Your membership stays active until the next billing date. After that, you lose access to books you checked out.
  • Pause instead: monthly members can pause for 1 month. The pause starts at the end of the billing cycle, and you can’t pause during a free trial or promotional period.

Family/shared billing

Check the signed-in Amazon profile that shows the plan; Household profiles can have separate memberships and billing records.

Cancel vs pause

Turning off renewal or skipping a shipment is not necessarily the same as canceling every subscription. Confirm the specific plan status.

When to cancel in-app vs store: Amazon Prime vs other Amazon subscriptions

  • Prime membership: dedicated End Membership path. Amazon says paid members who haven’t used their benefits can get a full refund of the current membership period, processed in 3–5 business days (Amazon Help). If you used benefits, check your confirmation rather than assuming a refund.
  • Prime Video add-ons / other digital subs: cancel each one separately (see above). Amazon’s Prime cancel page says add-ons like Paramount+ continue after Prime ends.
  • Subscribe & Save: separate cancel path; cancel before cutoff or the next shipment may already be processing.
  • Prime signed up through Google Play on Android: cancel through Google’s subscriptions. If Prime came with another company’s service, contact that company.

See the dedicated Amazon Prime guide for Prime + iPhone paths.

Charged after canceling

  1. Period already owed / digital access through end date?
  2. Subscribe & Save order already in shipping? Amazon says an order that has entered the shipping process can’t be canceled; request a return or a stop instead.
  3. Prime Video add-on still active after Prime cancel?
  4. Wrong Amazon Household profile?
  5. Apple or Google Play billing you instead of Amazon?
  6. Keep confirmation; contact Amazon Customer Service with proof.

One cancel done. What else are you paying for?
